Moogfest / URB.com Remix Contest Winners Selected!

Amazing remixes were submitted for the 1st annual Moogfest/URB.com remix contest powered by MixMatchMusic. Entrants from around the world competed for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to DJ at this year’s festival.

After torturous deliberations among the judges, the grand prize winner is Moving Temple and Peripheral for the remix of Hot Chip’s “We Have Love”. The Asheville-based Skew Records recording artists Moving Temple and Peripheral consist of Andy Askew and Michael McBride. Learn more about them at www.skewrecords.com. The winners win a DJ slot at Moogfest on Halloween night at 9pm!

We’d also like to congratulate Ed Haskins of Boston for his remix of Nortec Collective’s “I Count the Ways”. Thanks to all the participants and everyone who voted for this year’s contest. Visit http://www.urb.com/2010/10/27/win-a-dj-set-at-moogfest/ to find more info.
